Boss SLE 12G

This is a lovely old Boss in a nice case that would be a great shooter for someone interested in the best that London had to offer in the Edwardian Era. Many consider Boss’s to be the most prestigous guns made ever considering Boss made “Best Only” guns in small numbers and is still following that philosophy today. If you don’t believe it price a new one!
The gun was made in 1896. Barrels were sleeved by T. Wild in London. The gun is nitro proofed for 2 1/2″ shells. There is a beautifully aged leather case that is not original to the gun but it has a “correct” label.
Very modern “shootable” dimensions with 28″ barrels and a 14 3/4″ LOP over a very nice goatskin leather pad. The stock does show some use as you might expect from a gun 120 years ago. The action and stock grip have a very nice rounded look. The gun handles extremely well.
Gun has the patented Boss single trigger. Ejectors were rebuilt by Kirk Merrington at a cost of $3,070.

Here’s a chance to own one of the finest guns available that combiines both the Vintage look and feel with some modern touches.
